Xavier Worthy – who set an NFL Scouting Combine record with a 4.21-second 40-yard dash in 2024 – wants to be known for more than his speed. "I want to inspire people," Worthy said. "That's all I want to do. I want people to respect my speed but love me as a complete wide receiver." During his time at Texas, Worthy proved to be a do-it-all pass catcher. He had 26 career touchdown receptions, which ranks third all-time in Texas football history. He also finished his college career fourth all-time in career receiving yards (2,755), sixth in receptions (197) and eighth in punt return yards (564) on the Forty Acres. Worthy was ranked the nation's second-best receiver prospect in the 2021 recruiting class out of Fresno's Central East High School.
