Concepcion named Hornung Award winner
Texas A&M wide receiver and punt return KC Concepcion is the winner of the 2025 Paul Hornung Award, which recognizes the nation’s most versatile player.

The Louisville Sports Commission announced Wednesday that Concepcion was the 2025 recipient of the Hornung Award, which honors Louisville (Ky.) native and Green Bay Packers great Paul Hornung. Concepcion will be honored at a banquet in Louisville in March 2026.
Concepcion, who as named a coaches first team All-SEC selection three times over (wide receiver, all purpose and returned) Tuesday, put together one of the most remarkable seasons in Texas A&M history during his first season in College Station. He led the team in receptions (57) and yards (886) while scoring an SEC-leading nine touchdowns. He added another 63 yards and a touchdown on the ground and returned 23 punts for 460 yards (20 YPR) and two more scores.
Concepcion’s 12 total touchdowns were the most by any SEC receiver, and he is the first Aggie to score a touchdown via reception, rush and punt return in the modern era of Texas A&M football.
