Wisconsin (3-6, 1-5) could get leading tackler Christian Alliegro back against No. 2 Indiana (10-0, 7-0) on Saturday. According to the official injury report, the junior linebacker is listed as a game-time decision.

Alliegro has missed the last two games with a broken arm. That gave way to true freshmen Cooper Catalano and Mason Posa, who each received accolades from the Big Ten last week. Posting 19.0 tackles against Washington, Catalano is the reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week. As for Posa, he won Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors after tallying 11.0 tackles and 2.5 sacks in the victory. Alliegro owns 48.0 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks this season.

Senior safety Preston Zachman (lower body) has now been ruled out for the season. Zachman is tied for the team lead with two interceptions, despite playing just three games this season. Zachman joins running back Dilin Jones and center Jake Renfro as other starters who will remain out for the remainder of the 2025 campaign.

Also missing Saturday’s contest against the Hoosiers will be junior running back Cade Yacamelli, sophomore quarterback Danny O’Neil, and junior wide receiver Joseph Griffin Jr.. O’Neil went down in the first quarter in last week’s victory over Washington. True freshman quarterback Carter Smith will get his first career start for Wisconsin on Saturday.

The Badgers and Hoosiers will kick off at 11 a.m. CT. Big Ten Network will have the call live from Bloomington.
