BREAKING: Wisconsin Flips Oregon State Cornerback Commit Donovan Dunmore
Wisconsin has its first flip of the 2026 recruiting cycle. Following an official visit over the weekend, former Oregon State cornerback commit Donovan Dunmore (Fresno, Calif./Buchanan) has switched his commitment to head coach Luke Fickell and the Badgers.
Dunmore had been committed to the Beavers since June. The three-star cornerback also held scholarship offers from Arizona, Kansas State, Boise State, San Diego State, Fresno State, UNLV, Colorado State, and more.
Wisconsin, led by cornerbacks coach Paul Haynes and Director of Recruiting Pat Lambert, began working on Dunmore in August. Through four games, Dunmore has 20.0 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble.
“Definitely my size and my physicality,” Dunmore said of what the staff likes about him. “He likes that a lot. Not a lot of corners have my size with my speed. Coverage-wise, at my high school, we play everything, so there’s not much of an install.”
Dunmore is the Second Cornerback Commit For Wisconsin
In addition to Wisconsin, Kansas State had also been trying to flip Dunmore from Oregon State. Per the Rivals Industry rankings, Dunmore is the nation’s No. 79 ranked cornerback in the class of 2026.
Dunmore is the second cornerback commit for the Badgers in the class of 2026, joining Carsen Eloms (Fishers, Ind.). Wisconsin is now up to 15 commitments in its 2026 recruiting class, a group that ranks No. 45 in the Rivals Industry team recruiting rankings.
Dunmore is the second player to flip to Wisconsin from another program. Wide receiver Zion Legree (Niceville, Fla.) was previously committed to Ole Miss prior to choosing the Badgers.
