MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard addresses the media following Wednesday’s XX-XX exhibition win over UW-Platteville. Pioneers head coach Jeff Gard as well as select Badger players will also be present post game.

Platteville began the game on a 7-0 run. UW would eventually find its footing, scoring the next 10 points. The Badgers also ended the first half on a 15-3 run to grab a 31-22 lead at the break.

Things got a little dicey in the second half as the Pioneers would get within two points, but a 12-0 run for Wisconsin put things away. Junior forward Nolan Winter, who flirted with a double-double at half, led the way with 17 points, 15 rebounds, and three assists.

The Badgers improved to 4-0 all-time against the Pioneers. UW will officially open up the 2025-26 regular season on Nov. 3 against Campbell.
