WATCH LIVE: Greg Gard Speaks From Wisconsin Media Day
MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard will address the media at 2 p.m. CT to preview the 2025-26 season.
The Badgers begin the season ranked No. 24 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. UW returns a pair of starters in junior guard John Blackwell and junior forward Nolan Winter. Gard also loaded up in the transfer portal, grabbing projected starters Andrew Rohde (Virginia), Austin Rapp (Portland), and Nick Boyd (San Diego State).
Gard is entering his 11th season at the helm. He has won two Big Ten regular-season championships and owns an overall record of 213-117 (.645).
Gard and Wisconsin will take part in the Red-White scrimmage on Oct. 19. The Badgers also have a pair of exhibitions scheduled with Oklahoma on Oct. 24 in Milwaukee and UW-Platteville on Oct. 29. UW will officially open the season against Campbell on Nov. 3.
