GAME DAY: Northwestern at Wisconsin
MADISON, Wis. — Following three games away from the Kohl Center, Wisconsin (5-2) returns home to face Northwestern (5-2) in Wednesday’s Big Ten Conference opener.
The Badgers have won four in a row over the Wildcats, including a sweep last season, capped off by a 70-63 victory in the Big Ten Tournament. UW has also taken 26 of the last 33 meetings in this series.
Both teams will be coming off losses on Wednesday. The Badgers were dropped 74-63 by TCU in the Rady Children’s Invitational championship game out in San Diego. Meanwhile, NU came up short 86-81 against Oklahoma State in their last outing.
