BREAKING: Wisconsin Flips Boston College Commit Brady Bekkenhuis
Following an official visit last weekend, Wisconsin has flipped Boston College offensive line commit Brady Bekkenhuis (Arlington, Mass.). The Badgers and offensive line coach AJ Blazek offered Bekkenhuis a scholarship on Nov. 18. While Wisconsin was completely new to the mix for Bekkenhuis, the four-star lineman knew he had to check them out.
“I love Wisconsin’s play style. I love how they’re run-heavy.,” Bekkenhuis said in a previous interview. “I love the physicality they play with. It’s definitely something I have to look into. I feel like I owe that to my family and myself. It’s a good achievement to have.”
Bekkenhuis committed to Boston College in June of 2024 over Maryland, Syracuse, and Rutgers. The Rivals four-star lineman has also recently added an offer from Auburn and was slated to visit at the end of the month.
“For me, Boston College has been something that I’ve been committed to for over a year,” he said. “They’ve been nothing but great to me. They’ve been honest, they are the program that I believe is currently still the best fit for me. I have the best relationship with them, and I know them fairly well. I’ve been around the campus a lot.”
Bekkenhuis is now the only offensive lineman in Wisconsin’s 2026 recruiting class. The Badgers are up to 14 commitments, a group that ranks top 50 in the Rivals Industry team recruiting rankings.
The nation’s No. 22 ranked ranked interior offensive lineman, Bekkenhuis is the third four-star prospect in Wisconsin’s 2026 recruiting class. Rivals tabs Bekkenhuis as the nation’s No. 263 ranked player overall.
