Oregon Opens Up as Massive Favorites Over Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. — If Wisconsin (2-5, 0-4) is going to get its first win over a ranked opponent under head coach Luke Fickell, they’ll have to do so as a huge underdog. The Badgers opened as 35.5-point underdogs going into Saturday’s Big Ten Conference matchup against No. 6 Oregon (6-1, 3-1), according to Bet MGM.
UW fell to 0-10 against Associated Press Top 25 foes following last Saturday’s 34-0 loss to No. 1 Ohio State. The Badgers were also handed their fifth consecutive loss on the season and 10th consecutive defeat versus power-four conference foes going back to 2024. UW will be making its first visit to Eugene since 2001.
After suffering a home loss to Indiana two weeks ago, Oregon came back and smacked Rutgers on Saturday, coming away with a 56-10 victory in Piscataway. The Ducks have not lost to an unranked opponent since October of 2021 (Stanford).
Wisconsin and Oregon met last season. The Ducks won a 16-13 thriller in Madison, picking up the victory on a last-second field goal. Oregon leads the all-time series 4-3, claiming each of the last four meetings against the Badgers. Each of the last six games between these two schools has been decided by one possession.
Kickoff has been set for 6 p.m. CT. FS1 will have the call live from Autzen Stadium.
