WATCH: Jordan Reid, Wisconsin Wide Receivers Give the Latest From Fall Camp
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — Wisconsin wide receivers coach Jordan Reid addressed the media following Wednesday’s fall camp practice. Reid is entering his first season with the Badgers after coming over from Western Michigan. He inherits one returning starter, senior Vinny Anthony. However, UW should also get a breakout season from sophomore wide receiver Trech Kekahuna and Ohio State transfer Jayden Ballard.
Also featured below, Kekahuna explains his decision to enter the transfer portal, but return to Madison for year three with Wisconsin. As for Ballard, the former four-star and All-American recruit is revitalized by finally getting his shot after being a reserve for the Buckeyes over the last four seasons.
In 2024 with the Broncos, Reid tutored three WMU receivers to 30-catch seasons, led by Kenneth Womack, who posted a team-best 39 receptions for 545 yards. Womack totaled 115 catches for 1,236 yards and two scores across two seasons under Reid.
Reid joined the Broncos in 2022. Prior to that, he worked as an intern with the Carolina Panthers and the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL. Reid also served as an offensive quality control coach and an offensive analyst for two seasons at Wake Forest. In 2019, he served as a graduate assistant at Ohio University.
A former wide receiver for the Bobcats from 2013-16, Reid ended his career with 1,667 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.
