WATCH LIVE: Luke Fickell Previews Maryland
MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell reflects on Saturday’s 38-14 loss to Alabama and looks ahead to the week four matchup with Maryland (3-0). Fickell is slated to address the media at 12 p.m. CT.
The Badgers are 4-0 all-time against the Terrapins, all in Big Ten Conference play. The two programs last met in 2022, a 23-10 win in Madison. Including this Saturday, four of the five meetings have taken place at Camp Randall Stadium. Wisconsin has won all four prior contests by an average of 22.5 points. Three of the four matchups have been decided by double digits, with only the 2015 meeting in College Park coming down to one possession (31-24).
Maryland is off to a nice start this season. The unbeaten Terps have taken care of Florida Atlantic, Northern Illinois, and Towson all at home. Maryland also scored 39 or more points in two of those contests.
Wisconsin is coming off a 38-14 loss at No. 19 Alabama in week three. The Badgers are looking for a 1-0 start in Big Ten play for just the second time in the last five seasons.
