MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin (2-3, 0-2) opened as a 3-point underdog against Iowa (3-2, 1-1) heading into Saturday’s battle for the Heartland Trophy, according to Bet MGM.

The Badgers lead the all-time series 49-47-2. However, the Hawkeyes have won three consecutive games in this rivalry. Last season, Iowa ran its way to a dominant 42-10 home victory. UW grabbed an early 3-0 lead in the first quarter, but the Hawkeyes would score the next 28. Iowa ran for a whopping 329 yards and only passed the ball 10 times.

Wisconsin has won five of the last six meetings in Madison. The Badgers will be trying to end a three-game losing streak, falling 24-10 at No. 20 Michigan in their last outing. Coming off their bye week, Iowa will be looking to bounce back after a 20-15 home loss to Indiana on Sept. 27.

Iowa and Wisconsin will kick off at 6 p.m. from Camp Randall Stadium. FS1 will have the call live from Madison.
