Iowa State‘s fifth-year safeties coach spent time with the media on Monday afternoon to discuss his position group throughout the offseason and into training camp.
Former Cyclone defensive back Deon Broomfield will be helping to select two new starters at the position this camp following the departures of Beau Freyler and Malik Verdon.
With a season opener against Kansas State in the Aer Lingus Classic looming in less than two weeks, he speaks on those camp battles as well as on some of the younger player in the room making early impressions.
