Cal Game Thread at Oregon State
(Matt Moreno | Golden Bear Report)

Cal opens up its season Saturday night in Corvallis with a matchup against Oregon State. The Bears are seeking their first winning season since 2019. Head coach Justin Wilcox is entering his ninth season at the helm for the Bears, and his program has gone through several changes year.

The Bears will match up with their former Pac-12 foe in Corvallis to open the 2025 campaign. Cal knocked off Oregon State in last year’s game, 44-7. Wilcox’s team heads into the matchup as a slight favorite, but the Beavers could present an early test for the new-look Bears.
