Gophers in the NFL: How former Minnesota football stars played in week four

Week four of the 2025 NFL season is officially in the books. Here is how former Golden Gophers performed in week three of the NFL season.

WR Rashod Bateman | OG Daniel Faalele – Baltimore Ravens

Bateman had one reception for 24 yards in Baltimore’s 37-20 loss to Kansas City. His season totals through four games are now 10 receptions for 112 yards and one touchdown on 17 targets.

CB Terrell Smith – Chicago Bears

Smith is out for the season with a knee injury.

TE Brevyn Spann-Ford – Dallas Cowboys

Spann-Ford did not record any targets or receptions in Dallas’s 40-40 tie with the Green Bay Packers.

CB Justin Walley – Indianapolis Colts

Walley is out for the season with a knee injury.

S Eric Murray | DE Danny Striggow – Jacksonville Jaguars

Murray had two tackles in a 26-21 win for Jacksonville over San Francisco. In four games, the former Gopher has totaled 20 tackles and one interception.

CB Benjamin St-Juste – Los Angeles Chargers

St-Juste had one pass deflection and one tackle for Los Angeles in a 21-18 loss to the New York Giants.

LB Cody Lindenberg – Las Vegas Raiders

Lindenberg did not record any stats in this week’s loss for Las Vegas against the Chicago Bears. He has one tackle this season in four games played.

QB Max Brosmer | LB Blake Cashman – Minnesota Vikings

Brosmer did not play this week for the Vikings in their international game loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Blake Cashman remains on injured reserve.

LB Jack Gibbens – New England Patriots

GIbbens had 12 tackles, including eight solo tackles and one tackle for loss in a 42-13 win for New England over the Carolina Panthers. In four games, Gibbens has 17 tackles and two tackles for loss.

S Jordan Howden – New Orleans Saints

Howden had one tackle in a 31-19 loss for New Orleans against the Buffalo Bills.

S Tyler Nubin | OC John Michael Schmitz – New York Giants

Nubin had four tackles in a 21-18 win for the Giants over the Los Angeles Chargers. His season total is up to 20 tackles, including two tackles for loss in four games.

WR Tyler Johnson – New York Jets

Johnson did not play this past Monday night against the New York Jets as a healthy scratch. In three games, Johnson has recorded four receptions for 63 yards.

DT Kyler Baugh | DE Esezi Otomewo – Pittsburgh Pittsburgh

Kyler Baugh is a part of the Steelers’ practice squad and did not play this week. Otomweo was inactive as well.

TE Nick Kallerup | OLB Boye Mafe – Seattle Seahawks

Kallerup was inactive for the Seahawks. Mafe had two tackles and one quarterback hit in Seattle’s 23-20 win over Arizona last Thursday.

S Jack Henderson | TE Ko Kieft | Antoine Winfield Jr – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Winfield Jr had four tackles, including one tackle for loss, in Tampa Bay’s 31-25 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. His season total is now 15 tackles, three tackles for loss, and one pass deflection in four games.

Ko Kieft is on injured reserve with a leg injury and is expected to miss an extended period of time. Jack Henderson did not appear and is a member of Tampa Bay’s practice squad.
