Minnesota basketball Big Ten tip off times set for 2025-26 season
The tip times for Minnesota basketball’s 2025-26 season have officially been announced. On Tuesday, the Big Ten released the tipoff times and television broadcast assignments for each of the Gophers’ 20 Big Ten conference games.
Of the Golden Gophers’ 31 regular-season games, they will appear on the Big Ten Network 19 times, B1G+ four times, Peacock three times, FS1 three times, CBS Sports Network once, truTV once, and SECN+ once.
Minnesota will play in two exhibitions before the start of its regular season on November 3rd, playing North Dakota State on October 16 and North Dakota on October 25th. Both games will be televised on the B1G+.
The 2025-26 regular season will begin with Gardner-Webb on November 3rd before facing Alcorn State on November 8th. The Gophers will travel for the first time for a November 12th matchup at Missouri before returning home for matchups against Green Bay (Nov. 15th), and Chicago State (Nov. 18th). They’ll then take on San Francsicso at The Pentagon on November 22.
They’ll take part in the AcriSure Invite on November 27 and 28th in Palm Desert, California, against Stanford and then either Santa Clara or Saint Louis.
The Golden Gophers will begin conference play on December 3rd against Indiana at Williams Arena. Seven days later, they’ll head to West Lafayette to take on the Purdue Boilermakers.
They’ll finish up their non-conference schedule with December dates against Texas Southern (Dec. 14th), Campbell (Dec. 21st), and FDU (Dec. 29th).
In January, the Gophers will dive into the heart of their Big Ten schedule, starting on the 3rd against Northwestern in Evanston. They’ll then face Iowa on the 6th at Williams Arena, the first of three straight home games.
Also making their way to Minneapolis during the three-game home stand are Southern California on the 9th and Wisconsin on the 13th.
The Gophers will face Illinois in Urbana-Champaign on the 17th and Ohio State on the 20th in Columbus before returning home on the 24th to host Nebraska. Niko Medved’s team will finish the month off with a trip to Madison on the 28th.
In February, the Gophers will start the month with a trip to Happy Valley to face Penn State on the 1 before hosting Michigan State and Maryland on the 4th and 8th. They’ll head out to the West Coast for a brief two-game road trip against Washington on the 14th and Oregon on the 17th before returning east for a home matchup against Rutgers, an away trip to Ann Arbor to face the Michigan Wolverines on the 24th, and a home matchup against UCLA on the 28th.
The Gophers will have just two games in March before the Big Ten Tournament, an away game in Bloomington against Indiana and their home finale on the 7th against Northwestern.
