Gophers Nation publisher Dylan Callaghan-Croley is joined by Tony Liebert of Bring Me the News to preview Minnesota’s week 12 matchup against the Oregon Ducks.
The Golden Gophers (6-3, 4-2) travel to Eugene, Oregon, on Friday for a matchup against the No. 8 Oregon Ducks (8-1, 5-1) at Autzen Stadium.
The Gophers, coming off their second bye week of the season, will look to pull off an upset as a 25.5-point underdog to the Ducks. The Gophers this season have struggled away from the friendly confines of Huntington Bank Stadium with a 0-3 record while being outscored 110-20.
Oregon’s only blemish this season was a 30-20 loss to the now No.2-ranked Indiana Hoosiers at Autzen Stadium last month. It was just one of two losses that Oregon head coach Dan Lanning has suffered at home, and just one of seven that he’s suffered overall.
Notably, the Gophers enter Friday with a win in four-straight Friday night contests, including a 24-6 win over the No. 25 Nebraska Cornhuskers earlier this season.
