Minnesota Injury Report: Darius Taylor back, Gophers missing key safeties
The Minnesota Golden Gophers’ injury report for their week six availability report has been released, and it’s mixed news for P.J. Fleck’s program.
The good news for the Gophers is that star running back Darius Taylor is back after missing the last two games. However, the Gophers will be missing safeties Aidan Gousby and Garrison Monroe against the Buckeyes, which is especially notable considering the Buckeyes’ dangerous passing attack led by quarterback Julian Sayin and wide receievers Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate.
No players are questionable for Minnesota ahead of their matchup against Ohio State, while running back A.J. Turner, linebacker Drew Wilson, and defensive tackle Mo Omonode
Taylor in two games this season, has 33 carries for 161 yards, an average of 4.9 yards per carry. He has also recorded five receptions for 45 yards. Last season, the Walled Lake, Michigan native had 205 carries for 986 yards and 10 touchdowns on top of 54 receptions for 350 yards and two touchdowns.
Minnesota and Ohio State are set for a 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff.
