Minnesota Football vs Purdue: Kickoff time and TV channel announced for week seven matchup

Minnesota football’s October 11 matchup against the Purdue Boilermakers at Huntington Bank Stadium has officially received its kickoff time and TV channel assignment.
The Golden Gophers and Boilermakers will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT on October 11. It will be the Gophers’ fourth night kickoff this season after facing Buffalo in week one, California in week three, and Ohio State this upcoming Saturday. They’re also slated to face Nebraska on Friday, October 17, at Huntington Bank Stadium at 7:00 p.m. CT.
Minnesota enters week six with a 3-1 record and is coming off a 31-28 win over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in week five. Purdue is 2-2 this season with back-to-back losses to USC and Notre Dame. This upcoming weekend, the Boilermakers, coming off a bye week will face the No. 22 Illinois Fighting Illini at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Minnesota and Purdue have faced each other 79 times since 1894, with the Gophers winning 41 of 79 matchups and holding a 41-3-35 advantage. Purdue has won each of the last two meetings in 20222 and 2023. Before the back-to-back losses, the Gophers had won four straight and eight of nine against the Boilermakers.
