Recruiting: 2027 RB Kylan Bobo schedules game day visit to Minnesota

With Minnesota’s 2025 season just around the corner, a Gophers running back target has scheduled a visit to the Twin Cities for early in the season.
Kylan Bobo, a standout at Tupelo High School in Tupelo, Mississippi, will make the trip from Tupelo to Minneapolis for the Gophers’ Big Ten opener against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. He is the second prospect to confirm their plans to make the trip for the game, joining Creighton Preparatory School (NE) standout tight end Sam Dostal.
The 5-foot-11, 200-pound tailback received an offer from the Gophers in June, one of three Power Four offers that he currently holds, joining Arkansas and Ole Miss.
“I love Minnesota,” Bobo told Gophers Nation about his interest in the Gophers. “Ready to get down and build bonds with the coaches and others,” he added.
As a sophomore for Tupelo, Bobo played in 11 games, totaling 58 carries for 352 yards and three touchdowns. Bobo is expected to be a key piece of the Tupelo Golden Wave’s 2025 team that is currently ranked by the Massey ratings as the No. 1 team in the state of Mississippi and a top-75 team nationally.
The Golden Gophers currently hold two commitments in the 2027 recruiting cycle from Mater Dei (CA) signal caller Furian Inferrera and Wayzata (MN) defensive end Eli Diane.
