Minnesota Injury Report: Gophers to be without Garrison Monroe, Matt Kingsbury against Wisconsin
The Minnesota Golden Gophers availability report was released two hours ahead of Saturday’s 2:30 p.m. matchup between the Gophers and Badgers at Huntington Bank Stadium.
The Gophers will be without eight players on Saturday with one player questionable.
Among the notable players missing for Minnesota inlcude safety Garrison Monroe who hasn’t appeared appeared in a game since the Gophers’ October 11 win over Purdue as well as linebacker Matt Kingsbury who played a season high 73 snaps last week against Northwestern.
Also out of action for the Gophers is wide receiver Cristian Driver, kicker Sam Henson, defensive end Sam Macy, defensive tackle Theorin Randle, cornerback Simon Seidl, and offensive tackle Kahlee Tafai. Questionable for the Gophers is freshman offensive lineman D.J. Shipp.
There is good news for Minnesota, however, as both starting cornerback John Nestor and starting linebacker Devon Williams return to the lineup after missing last week’s game agaisnt Northwestern.
