Ohio State makes it a 42-3 game after backup quarterback Lincoln Keinholz scores on a one-yard touchdown run. The Buckeyes’ No. 2 quarterback led them on a nine-play, 77-yard drive.

Minnesota kicker Brady Denaburg has now missed field goal attempts in three straight games after missing a 41-yard field goal attempt in the fourth quarter. Minnesota chose to kick the field goal while facing a 4th and 10.

The Buckeyes have extended their lead once again. This time it was on Jeremiah Smith’s second touchdown of the day, a nine-yard pass from Julian Sayin.

Sayin is 23-for-27, 326 yards, and three touchdowns. Carnell Tate has nine receptions for 183 yards and one touchdown.

Since starting the game 7-for-7 and 8-for-9, Drake Lindsey has completed just five of his last 14 passing attempts.

The Gophers have failed to move the ball past midfield now on six straight drives after their first drive of the second half results in a three-and-out.

On the ensuing punt, the Buckeyes pull off some trickery with a pass across the field from Brandon Inniss to Lorenzo Styles, who returns it to the Minnesota 20. It took the Buckeyes just three plays to find the endzone as Bo Jackson scored from five yards out.

Ohio State leads 28-3 with 5:45 remaining in the third.

Ohio State quickly makes Minnesota pay for the turnover on downs as Carnell Tate torches Za’Quan Bryan, easily getting open for Julian Sayin for an easy 44-yard touchdown. 21-3 Ohio State.

Feeling possibly their chances are slipping, P.J. Fleck has the Gophers go for it on 4th-and-1 from their own 44-yard line. They try a run up the middle with Darius Taylor, and it gets stuffed for no gain. The Gophers give Ohio State the ball at their own 44.

Ohio State is making it look to easy offensively. They put together another scoring drive, this time 80 yards on eight plays. No answers for Julian Sayin and the passing attack.

Sayin finds Jeremiah Smith for a 6-yard touchdown, giving the Buckeyes a 14-3 lead after the extra point.

After the missed field goal on their first drive of the game, the Buckeyes’ second offensive drive of the day is a much better one. Buckeyes go 91 yards on just seven plays before CJ Donaldson punches it in from one yard out.

Julian Sayin is 6-for-7 for 100 yards so far. Carnell Tate has four receptions for 66 yards, and Jeremiah Smith has two for 4 yards.

Ohio State’s first drive of the game results in a missed 53-yard field goal. Nice drive from John Nestor, who broke up a home run pass from Julian Sayin to Jeremiah Smith. The first time this season that Sayin has had an attempt of 20+ yards fall incomplete.

The Golden Gophers put together an awe-inspiring first drive, driving 66 yards on 13 plays. Drake Lindsey starts his day hot, completing 8-of-10 passes for 65 yards. Jalen Smith had three receptions for 19 yards. Minnesota was able to get the ball into the red zone, but was unable to punch it in, settling for a 27-yard field goal from Brady Denaburg.

Minnesota star running back Darius Taylor is back in action this weekend after missing the last two games. The Gophers, however, will be missing a pair of safeties in Aidan Gousby and Garrison Monroe.
