Minnesota WR Javon Tracy named to Biletnikoff Award watch list
Minnesota Golden Gophers redshirt junior wide receiver Javon Tracy has been named to the 2025 Fred Biletnikoff preseason watch list.
The Miami (OH) transfer joined the program in January after spending three seasons with the Redhawks. Tracy is coming off a 2024 season for Miami (OH) in which he was one of the MAC’s top wide receivers with 57 receptions for 818 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games. Tracy earned First Team All-MAC honors for his performance.
The Indianapolis, Indiana native came to Minneapolis along with an additional pair of wide receivers in the offseason, hoping to revamp the Gophers’ wide receiver room. He was joined by UCLA slot receiver Logan Loya and Nebraska transfer Malachi Coleman, a former four-star prospect.
Both Tracy and Loya are expected to start for the Golden Gophers in 2025, while Coleman is expected to start the season with a rotational role, likely working behind Le’Meke Brockington.
