The latest Rivals300 class update was released on Monday afternoon, and three Golden Gophers commitments find themselves making the cut..

The Gophers’ top-ranked commitment in the newest update is Lafayette Jeferson IN, edge defender Aaden Aytch.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound edge defender is ranked by Rivals as the No. 36 player in the country, the No. 8 edge defender, and the top-ranked player in the state of Indiana.

Running back Ryan Estrada is the Gophers’ second-highest-rated commitment at No. 244 overall, No. 20 running back nationally, and the No. 33 player in the state of Texas.

In-state defensive line commitment Howie Johnson is the third and final Gopher ranked within the Rivals300 at No. 270 nationally and the No. 25 defensive linemen in the country. He’s also the No. 2 player in the state of Minnesota, ranked behind only Penn State tight end commitment Pierce Petersohn.

Notably, neither in-state commitments Andrew Trout nor Roman Voss are ranked within the top-300. Trout remains a four-star prospect and is considered the No. 31 offensive tackle nationally and the No. 3 player within the state. Roman Voss is now a three-star prospect, considered a top-30 tight end and the No. 5 player in Minnesota.
