Arkansas cuts ties with Blueprint Sports

The Arkansas athletics department has cut ties with Blueprint Sports, the organization that managed Arkansas Edge, the Hogs’ NIL collective, the school announced Monday.
“The efforts of the Arkansas Edge staff and support from members over the past two years is greatly appreciated and filled an important role for the success of Arkansas Athletics,” the university said in a release. “However, there is a different path forward in the new era of college athletics, that is in the best interest for the sustained success of the Arkansas Razorbacks.”
The official end date for the relationship is October. 15.
Arkansas Edge was announced in Nov. 2023, roughly around the same time interim head coach Bobby Petrino was brought on as the team’s offensive coordinator. It went through a revolving door of executive directors over the two years, and did not have a permanent executive director for nearly eight months from February to October 2025.
The interim executive director in that time was Marcus Madlock, who also held the title of Vice President of Client Partnerships with Blueprint Sports.
The press release from Arkansas Athletics said after the House settlement passed, the school assumed all name, image and likeness agreements with Razorback student-athletes that were previously executed by Blueprint Sports (Arkansas Edge).
The UA said the two sides tried to come to an agreement to work together moving forward, but a resolution never developed.
“On July 1, 2025, in conjunction with new NCAA legislation and permissible rules associated with the House Settlement and student-athlete revenue sharing policies, Arkansas Athletics assumed all name, image and likeness agreements with Razorback student-athletes that were previously executed by Blueprint Sports (Arkansas Edge),” the release stated. “Since that time, the two parties have explored future opportunities to work together, but a clear solution never developed.”
