Arkansas defense flounders for four quarters in loss to Ole Miss

The Arkansas Razorbacks (2-1, 0-1 SEC) dropped their first game of Southeastern Conference play on Saturday, as they lost to the Ole Miss Rebels (3-0, 2-0 SEC) 41-35 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, in Oxford, Mississippi.
The Arkansas offense was lights out, as it amassed 522 yards of offense, 217 of which were on the ground, and was a perfect 3-for-3 in the red zone, but the defense let them down.
The Rebels didn’t have to bring out a punter until the third quarter, as the offense scored on every single drive in the first half. Arkansas kept responding as much as it could, but a field goal at the end of the half pushed the Rebels in front.
Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green wasn’t perfect, but he put up a strong stat line and finished with 305 yards through the air, 111 on the ground and accounted for two touchdowns (one rushing, one passing).
