The Arkansas Razorbacks (2-1, 0-1 SEC) fell in a 41-35 heartbreaker to the No. 17 Ole Miss Rebels (3-0, 2-0 SEC) in their SEC opener at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday night.
The Rebels claimed their third consecutive win over the Hogs, led by backup Trinidad Chambliss who was playing in place of the injured Austin Simmons. Chambliss was 21 of 29 through the air for 353 yards and a touchdown, while adding another 62 yards and two scores on the ground.
Ole Miss took a 31-28 lead into halftime, but the Hogs scored just seven points in the second half as the Ole Miss defense nabbed a crucial turnover late that would eventually seal it.
