The 2025 MLB Draft is less than a week away and all signs have been pointing to the Arkansas Razorbacks having multiple players selected in the first round for the first time in program history.

Four former Diamond Hogs finished in the top 30 of D1Baseball’s final college top 150 prospect rankings. The Razorbacks had the second-most selections with eight, right behind Tennessee’s nine, while the SEC overall totaled 59.

Golden Spikes Award winner and SEC Player of the Year Wehiwa Aloy nabbed the highest spot at No. 9, while right-handed pitcher and Batesville native Gage Wood rounded out the Top 10 right behind Aloy.

Wood, who set the nation on fire by twirling the third no-hitter in College World Series history last month, shot up the rankings from No. 50 all the way to 10. Lefty Zach Root checked in at No. 18 and Canadian outfielder Charles Davalan is No. 30.

Also included in the Top 100 were right-handers Aiden Jimenez (80th) and Christian Foutch (83rd), third baseman Brent Iredale (93rd) and lefty Landon Beidelschies took the final spot at No. 150.

Along with claiming the Golden Spikes Award and SEC Player of the Year, Aloy was selected to multiple All-American teams, while Davalan and Root were alongside him on the All-SEC First Team. Wood was one of two Razorbacks selected to the College World Series All-Tournament Team.
