What Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said about Arkansas

Ole Miss head football coach Lane Kiffin met with the media on Monday afternoon to preview Saturday’s game against Arkansas at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi.
The Razorbacks are looking to rebound after getting trounced 63-31 last fall at home. Kickoff between the Hogs and the 17th-ranked Rebels is set for 6 p.m. CT and will air on ESPN.

Opening Statement
Really challenging week playing against Arkansas preparing for a really good team with dynamic offense, really dynamic quarterback. (They are) One of the top offenses, statistically in the country, run and pass, so these guys present a lot of challenge.
Coach Petrino has done a great job there. Even our game last year that they did as well as anybody offensively against us in moving the ball and different things. On defense, prior to last year, we really had some tough games against them.
We’re going have to prepare really well and play our best game of the year. We got a lot to clean up from last week, especially turnovers and lack of getting turnovers. You’re not gonna win many SEC games minus two in turnover margin. So we got to definitely clean that up.
Thoughts on Taylen Green as a dual-threat
Really dynamic athlete from a height, weight, speed standpoint. They’re going to run as he can, and I don’t think he was fully healthy in our game a year ago. So he’s a problem.
He’s a lot to deal with and kinda similar to the South Carolina quarterback, LaNorris Sellers. Here’s two guys that are really hard to game plan for because they’re big, and they can throw and run.

Does having former Arkansas players on the roster add anything extra?
No, I do not think so. I think Georgia State had two or three of our players, so I think that is a little overrated.
Injury report on former Razorbacks
TE Luke Hasz: Yeah, I think he’ll play this week. He has been working really hard and we’ll know more in the next couple of days.
CB Jaylon Braxton: He was doing well, then had a setback. So I think that will be the same this week and we’ll see how much he can do.
