2025 Huskerland Top 225: Class C-2 Seniors No. 31-35

2025 - SIZED - Huskerland Bob for On3by: Huskerland Bob07/26/25Huskerland Bob
ON3 - Cope Smith, Amherst MUG
Here's my guess: not many opposing teams will be able to Cope with the No. 33 guy on this list. No, make that a prediction.
  1. Oliver Daniel, LB, Norfolk Catholic. Other stats NA. His 112 total tackles led the undefeated state champs. No need for further validation necessary.
  2. Cody Andreasen, WR-S, Boone Central. 6-1, 170. Other stats NA. Jacob Miller, QB-S, Boone Central. 5-10, 170. Other stats NA. What you have a here is a pair of all-district safeties who are also outstanding skill players on offense, Jacob as a dual threat QB, Cody with untapped ability in both the running and receiving game, and he seems a good fit for school ambassador, as well.
  3. Cope Smith, L-LB, Amherst. 6-1, 215. Bench – 275, Squat – 465, 40 – 4.9.The team’s starting center since his freshman year, returning all-district, and that might be the least of his achievements. I mean, the kid is also a defending state runner-up in wrestling, and medaled at state golf. Talk about an all-around game…
  4. Colton Thompson, WR-DB, Ord. 6-0, 175. Bench – 210, Squat – 330, 40 – 4.8. Four-year starter, returning first-team all-district, Colton’s a reliable playmaker on both sides, most noted for his coverage ability at cornerback. Finished last season with 52 tackles and four INT on defense, adding 16 receptions for 240 yards and two TDs.
  5. Bradyn Hazen, L-DL, St. Paul. 6-4, 240. Bench – 300, Squat – 500, 40 – 4.7. Big and athletic, a kid with a great work ethic and desire to make the most of his ability. Which could take some time, because he’s got a lot of it, as witnessed by last year’s 107 tackles from the defensive end position. Of note, his father played D-1 ball at New Mexico State, so there is that.
