TV Guide: How to watch, listen to Nebraska vs. Akron + our CFB Week 2 staff picks
Nebraska football gets Game No. 2 underway in roughly 24 hours against Akron.
The Huskers’ second non-conference matchup of the season will pit them against an opponent from the MAC – an Akron team that has begun the season 0-1 following a 10-0 loss to Wyoming in Week 1.
Nebraska, meanwhile, got out to a positive start and takes a 1-0 mark into the matchup after taking care of business against a Power 4 opponent, the Cincinnati Bearcats out of the Big 12 conference. The Huskers came out of that game with a 20-17 victory in front of a raucous, intense, thundering crowd inside Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City last Thursday night in Week 1 of the college football season.
Now, the Huskers will welcome the Zips and their head coach Joe Moorhead into Lincoln for a battle under the lights at Memorial Stadium.
Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. Central Time on Tom Osborne Field.
