WATCH: Matt Rhule's last updates before Nebraska at Maryland

Game Week No. 6 for Nebraska football is on the horizon.
Year 3 of the Matt Rhule Era – the most pivotal of his tenure thus far as the Huskers’ head coach – began with a crucial season opener against Cincinnati in Week 1, a victory over Akron in a 68-0 shellacking and a 59-7 blowout win over Houston Christian. Then, the 30-27 loss to Top-25 Michigan set the Huskers back – but only for a week, it seems, as they came out and finished off Michigan State, 38-27, last week.
Now, Nebraska (4-1 overall, 1-1 Big Ten) must prove it can play away from home (or very close to it) during its first true road game of the season at Maryland (4-1, 1-1) this weekend.
The Terrapins are in a somewhat similar situation as Nebraska was following the Michigan game. Mike Locksley’s team began the season 4-0 and then welcomed Washington to town in what was set up to likely be a swing game for both teams. The Terps, after building a 20-0 lead, saw UW rattle off four unanswered scores en route to a 24-20 loss to the Huskies.

As Maryland hopes to bounce back this week, the Huskers are looking to squelch the Terps’ rebound effort on Saturday.
Opening kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m. Central Time with the game available to watch live on Big Ten Network.
Before the Week 7 matchup gets rolling, Nebraska held its last press conference of Game Week inside Hawks Championship Center on Thursday. Rhule took the podium for his weekly lightning-round session with the media as the Nebraska head man gave his final updates, injury reports and additional thoughts on the matchup with Maryland.
