Game Week No. 4 for Nebraska football is on the horizon.

Year 3 of the Matt Rhule Era – the most pivotal of his tenure thus far as the Huskers’ head coach – began with a crucial season opener against Cincinnati in Week 1, a victory over Akron in a 68-0 shellacking and a 59-7 blowout win over Houston Christian.

Now, Nebraska (3-1, 0-1 Big Ten) is returning from its first of two bye weeks this season following its disappointing 30-27 loss to a Top 25 opponent (Michigan). The same goes for Michigan State (3-1, 0-1), which will come into Lincoln coming off a loss to then-No. 25 USC and a subsequent bye week of its own in Week 5. That loss to the Trojans came after MSU beat Western Michigan (23-6), Boston College (42-40 in 2OT) and Youngstown State (41-24).

Nebraska will host Big Ten rival Michigan State at 3 p.m. Central Time on Saturday (game available to watch live on FS1).

Before the Week 6 matchup gets rolling, Nebraska held its last press conference of Game Week inside Hawks Championship Center on Thursday.

Rhule took the podium for his weekly lightning-round session with the media as the Nebraska head man gave his final updates, injury reports and additional thoughts on the matchup with Michigan State.
