WATCH: Matt Rhule previews Michigan State in Monday press conference

Nebraska football is 3-1 and lickings its wounds after another Top-25 loss.
The Huskers lost to then-No. 21 Michigan, 30-27, inside Memorial Stadium in their Week 4 showdown. After starting the season with a 3-0 mark – via a 20-17 season-opening win over Cincinnati, a 68-0 domination of MAC opponent Akron and a 59-7 blowout over FCS team Houston Christian – they weren’t able to get the job done against the Wolverines.
Now, the Huskers (3-1, 0-1 Big Ten) are returning from their first of two bye weeks this season. The same goes for Michigan State (3-1, 0-1), which will come into Lincoln on Saturday for a kickoff at 3 p.m. Central Time.
The Spartans will travel to The Good Life while in the middle of a similar situation as Nebraska. Michigan State also began the year with a 3-0 record, grabbing wins over Western Michigan (23-6), Boston College (42-40 in 2OT) and Youngstown State (41-24). MSU then dropped its own Big Ten opener in Week 4 by way of a 45-31 loss to then-No. 25 USC, and the Spartans are likewise entering Week 6 coming off a bye week.
