Nebraska football is off for the next eight days.
The Huskers are in the midst of an idle week – their first of two this season – following a 3-1 start to the season.
Nebraska held on for a 20-17 win over Cincinnati at Arrowhead Stadium in the season opener. Then, it blew the doors off two overmatched opponents – MAC foe Akron, 68-0, and Houston Christian, 59-7, out of the FCS – before falling, 30-27, in the Big Ten showdown against Michigan in Week 4.
The Huskers (3-1, 0-1 Big Ten) will not be back onto the game field until next Saturday (Oct. 4) against Michigan State (3-1, 0-1) for a 3 p.m. Central Time kick inside Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.
