Nebraska vs. Cincinnati: WATCH Dana Holgorsen, John Butler, Dylan Raiola preview Week 1
Welcome to Game Week. And welcome to Year 3 of the Matt Rhule Era as Nebraska football gears up for the most pivotal season during his tenure with the Huskers.
It all begins three days from now in Kansas City with Thursday night’s Week 1 season opener between Nebraska and Cincinnati.
On Monday morning, Nebraska completed its 21st practice of the preseason, including the entire slate of fall camp and the past week of practice. Following Monday’s session, the Huskers held another media availability inside Hawks Championship Center.
It was one of Nebraska’s busiest press conferences of the preseason with offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen, defensive coordinator John Butler and a large slew of players – including quarterback Dylan Raiola, receiver Dane Key, tight end Heinrich Haarberg and offensive lineman Henry Lutovsky – who spoke to Husker Media.

Fall Camp: Week 2
Three weeks ago, Nebraska held its second open practice of the preseason, conducting that session inside Memorial Stadium as part of the second Big Red Preview of the Rhule Era. Big Red Preview, an open session for both the public and the media to watch Nebraska practice, followed the annual Nebraska Football Fan Day, which was held earlier in the day inside the Hawks Championship Center.

Fall Camp: Week 1
The media was allotted a 20-minute open window to view practice during Week 1 of fall camp, which offered Inside Nebraska an opportunity to snag five observations that stood out. Some of the highlights included Carter Nelson showcasing his physical stature and growth, Gunnar Gottula and the Husker offensive line, the quarterback work led by Dylan Raiola and offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen – in addition to quarterbacks coach Glenn Thomas – and new punter Archie Wilson showing off his leg.
