Who’s Next? Nebraska heating up with 2027 targets
Nebraska boasts the No. 3 2027 recruiting class in the country after landing 2027 Thomas County Central four-star wide receiver Jabari Watkins on Friday. The Huskers now hold four commits, including three four-stars, with three new additions over the last two months.
The Huskers might not have to wait long for their next additions, here’s three 2027 targets the Huskers could be close to adding in the very near future:
Nebraska should be considered the leaders for Lee’s Summit North wide receiver Justyn Lindsay after his latest weekend visit. The Huskers were the first to offer, after a phenomenal camp performance in June catching passes from 2027 Nebraska quarterback commit Trae Taylor. Iowa is also in the mix, and a few Power Four programs are monitoring his junior year closely. Nebraska is after a few receivers, so Watkins’ commitment won’t impact anyone’s spot, but it could push someone like Lindsay to try and claim his spot sooner than later. The Huskers are already the leader, but they could get across the finish line faster than expected.
