Nebraska is set to host 20+ recruits on Saturday making the trip to Memorial Stadium to see the Huskers take on Northwestern. Nebraska will look to bounce back from Friday’s loss to Minnesota with a big conference win in front of a top flip target and a key official visitor in the 2026 cycle.

Here’s what you need to know ahead of the recruiting weekend

Five recruiting visitors to know when Nebraska takes on Northwestern

2026 Florida State four-star S commit Tedarius Hughes

Nebraska gets their second shot at Florida State four-star safety Tedarius Hughes on Saturday. The long-time Florida State has visited Miami a few times this season and is still considering Syracuse, Nebraska is the non-ACC contender still in the mix. The Huskers have a need at safety, and Hughes is at the very top of Addison Williams’ board, a rangy, athletic defender at 6-foot-3, 180lbs. He made an impromptu mid-week unofficial visit With the Seminoles struggling in conference play and Mike Norvell’s seat growing warmer, Nebraska has a real opportunity here. Miami lingers, as does Syracuse, but Nebraska has the ability to get aggressive here down the stretch. Will Nebraska go all-in on pulling off the flip this weekend, or stay patient, put their best foot forward and look to close in November?

2026 three-star EDGE Damaad Lewis

The three-star EDGE out of Charlotte (N.C) Myers Park is making his Nebraska official visit this weekend, as the Huskers look to address a need along the defensive front with the uncommitted edge rusher. Lewis is set to visit Nebraska this weekend and Florida State the following weekend, with a decision expected shortly after. As mentioned above, with Florida State struggling in conference play, Nebraska has an opportunity to impress and potentially prevent next week’s trip to Tallahassee from happening. Lewis is likely a Jack in Nebraska’s scheme at 6-foot-3, 235lbs but could grow into a true defensive end with some time in the weight room.

2027 four-star WR Quentin Hale

Nebraska is getting 2027 Los Angeles (Cali) Cathedral four-star wide receiver Quentin Hale on campus for the very first time on Saturday. Hale stands 6-foot-3, 175lbs and is one of the top outside targets in the cycle coming in as a top-50 prospect and No. 6 wide receiver per the Rivals industry rankings. USC is the program to beat, with Alabama in the mix as well. Can Nebraska earn some momentum to crack that unofficial top two? A bounce-back offensive performance could go a long ways.

2027 four-star WR Khalil Taylor

Shortly after backing off his commitment to Penn State, one of the first visits 2027 Pittsburgh (Penn.) Pine-Richland four-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor set up was Nebraska on Oct. 25. It makes sense, considering Nebraska was the second Power Four offer for the speedster back in 2023. He never got a chance to visit Lincoln prior to his early commitment to in-state Penn State. He’s fully re-opened his recruitment, coming off a weekend visit to Syracuse, with trips to Oregon, Michigan and Ohio State ahead. Nebraska has strong Northeast ties, and 2027 four-star quarterback commit Trae Taylor will be back in town doing his part to get Tayor and the aforementioned Hale to seriously consider the Huskers.

2027 four-star OT Princeton Uwaifo

A rising offensive tackle out of Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Siegel, Nebraska has been monitoring the 6-foot-6, 302lb four-star for some time. On Saturday, the Huskers will get their first shot at Uwaifo, who was recently tabbed the No. 182 prospect and No. 17 offensive tackle in the latest Rivals300 rankings update. The four-star has handled his recruitment relatively quietly. To date in-state Tennessee is the lone program he’s visited multiple times, the in-state Volunteers should be seen as the early favorite. Nebraska has tried to establish a presence in Tennessee, the consistency is paying off as Uwaifo will give the Huskers a chance this weekend. Can Nebraska take advantage of the opportunity and emerge as a top contender coming out of the weekend?
