WATCH: Matt Rhule's last updates before Nebraska vs. Houston Christian

Game Week No. 3 for Nebraska football is on the horizon.
Year 3 of the Matt Rhule Era – the most pivotal of his tenure thus far as the Huskers’ head coach – began with a crucial season opener against Cincinnati in Week 1 and a victory over Akron in a 68-0 shellacking.
Nebraska, of course, came away with a potentially critical 20-17 win over the Bearcats inside a roaring, raucous Arrowhead Stadium. The Huskers then took care of business quickly, efficiently and more than convincingly in their home opener against the Zips in Week 2.

Now, the next challenge is coming up in Week 3.
Nebraska will host FCS opponent Houston Christian at 11 a.m. Central Time on Saturday (game available to watch live on FS1). The Huskers (2-0) will look to get in and get out against HCU (1-1) before hosting Michigan in Week 4. That one figures to be a critical swing game in both teams’ Big Ten opener.
Before that Week 4 matchup with the Wolverines, though, is the Week 3 tune up against HCU. And Nebraska held its latest press conference inside Hawks Championship Center on Thursday as Rhule took the podium for a lightning-round session with the media.
The Nebraska head man gave his final updates, injury reports and additional thoughts on the matchup with Houston Christian before his squad takes on the Huskies.

This week’s press conference videos – Rhule’s Thursday lightning round, his first Game Week presser from Monday, plus Tuesday’s media availability with OC Dana Holgorsen, DC John Butler, QB Dylan Raiola and several more Husker players – are also available to watch for free on the Inside Nebraska YouTube channel.
