WATCH: Matt Rhule, players postgame press conference after Nebraska throttles Houston Christian

Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule and the Huskers are 3-0.
Rhule has led the program to a perfect 3-0 start to the season for the second consecutive season. It is the first time Nebraska has begun the year at least 3-0 since the 2010 and 2011 seasons when the Huskers started 5-0 and 4-0, respectively.
In order to get to that mark, the Huskers have not had to sweat at all over the past two weeks.
Following their 20-17 season-opening win over Cincinnati on Aug. 28, the Huskers obliterated MAC opponent Akron in a 68-0 thrashing last weekend. On Saturday afternoon, they were back at it again, this time gashing an FCS foe.
Final score: Nebraska 59, Houston Christian 7
Now, inarguably the biggest test of the Huskers’ season thus far is set to begin.
It’s (un)officially Michigan Week.
Nebraska (3-0, 0-0 Big Ten) will welcome the Wolverines (2-1, 0-0) into Lincoln for a 2:30 p.m. CT clash next Saturday on CBS inside the confines of Memorial Stadium.
It is the matchup that most Husker fans have been eagerly anticipating since the start of the season – and, for many, the moment the schedule was announced. Nebraska will be pitted against the currently No. 23-ranked Wolverines – who, like the Huskers, easily stormed past its opponent in Week 3 via 63-3 win over in-state foe Central Michigan – for the two teams’ Big Ten opener.

There will be plenty of time, though, to discuss, dissect and overanalyze that Week 4 showdown in the days ahead. For now, Rhule and the Huskers are going to (briefly) enjoy a second straight blowout victory in their final tune-up before next weekend’s big game.
Following the win over Houston Christian, Rhule and several Nebraska players were made available to the media for the postgame press conference.
The list of players featured QB Dylan Raiola, RB Isaiah Mozee, WR Dane Key, WR Cortez Mills, OL Henry Lutovsky, DE Williams Nwaneri, DL Riley Van Poppel, LB Marques Watson-Trent and safety Rex Guthrie. All nine players spoke at the postgame presser inside Hawks Championship Center, breaking down Saturday’s blowout victory and what it means going forward.
