WATCH: Matt Rhule goes in depth on Michigan loss during bye week press conference

Nebraska football is 3-1 and lickings its wounds after another Top-25 loss.
The Huskers lost to No. 21 Michigan, 30-27, on Saturday inside Memorial Stadium. After starting the season 3-0 – via a 20-17 season-opening win over Cincinnati, a 68-0 domination of MAC opponent Akron and a 59-7 blowout over FCS team Houston Christian – they were set up for a major showdown with the Wolverines in Week 4.
In the end, Michigan got the job done while Nebraska did not meet the moment and wavered throughout the game – most notably down the stretch in the second half.
Now, the Huskers (3-1, 0-1 Big Ten) are in the midst of a much-needed week of rest during their first of two bye weeks this season. The same goes for Michigan (3-1, 1-0), which will head home for its own Bye Week No. 1 of 2 this year and then host Wisconsin on Oct. 4 in Ann Arbor.
Following the off week, Nebraska will welcome Michigan State (3-1, 0-1) into Lincoln on Oct. 4 at Memorial Stadium. The kickoff time for the Michigan State game is still TBD.
