WATCH: Dana Holgorsen, John Butler Michigan Week press conference

Michigan Week is here. Nebraska football will take on its Big Ten opponent in just four days.
Year 3 of the Matt Rhule Era – the most pivotal of his tenure thus far as the Huskers’ head coach – began with a crucial season-opening win, 20-17, over Big 12 opponent Cincinnati in Week 1, and then it continued on Saturday night in a dominant 68-0 blowout of MAC foe Akron in Week 2. In Week 3, the Huskers once again trounced an overmatched and overwhelmed opponent, winning 59-7 over FCS foe Houston Christian on Saturday.
Nebraska (3-0) has jumped out to a 3-for-3 start to the 2025 season for the second consecutive season. It is the first time Nebraska has begun the year at least 3-0 since the 2010 and 2011 seasons when the Huskers started 5-0 and 4-0, respectively.
On Saturday, the Huskers have a chance to start 4-0, but standing in their way will be inarguably their most difficult test of the year thus far.
The No. 21-ranked Wolverines (2-1) opened the season with a 34-17 win over New Mexico before losing on the road, 24-13, to a Top-25 Oklahoma Sooners team – which has ascended to No. 11 in the nation. In Week 3, Michigan blew out in-state foe Central Michigan, 63-3, to win its first of two games without suspended head coach Sherrone Moore on the sidelines.
