Jim Zebrowski meets with the media on day two of fall camp

KU offensive coordinator Jim Zebrowski spoke with reporters about several areas with the offense.
Zebrowski has optimism about the team’s progress in fall camp, led by a strong quarterback development and team chemistry. He praised Cole Ballard’s growth and emphasized the importance of “functional intelligence” in processing the offense quickly.
Zebrowski said Jalon Daniels’ leadership and improved mindset entering his final season, after encouraging him to focus on enjoying the game. He spoke highly of the new wide receiver group and their quick learning highlighted by summer work and minicamps. Zebrowski likes the tight end positions versatility.
He sees renewed energy from Leshon Williams, who transferred from Iowa. He said that is a sign of the positive culture and competition across all position groups. Zebrowski and co-coordinator Matt Lubick have enjoyed mixing offensive ideas and building a scheme.
