WATCH: Bill Self said Darryn Peterson won't play in Las Vegas
According to Kansas head coach Bill Self, who conducted his weekly press conference in Lawrence on Friday afternoon, freshman guard Darryn Peterson will remain sidelined for the Players Era Festival, which is scheduled to tip off in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Monday.
Kansas is scheduled to face Notre Dame on Monday, November 24, at 2:30 p.m. CT from inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
At the same time and place on Tuesday, Kansas will square off against Syracuse, while the third and final game will take place at some point on Wednesday.
On Friday afternoon, Self, when addressing the media, announced that Peterson will remain sidelined during the Players Era Festival.
