WATCH: Kohl Rosario met with the media on Monday morning
Kohl Rosario talked about joining Kansas and adjusting to life in Lawrence. He said the competitive gym environment has pushed him to improve.
He spoke highly of the coaching staff and facilities. Graduating early and enrolling was a decision he made to challenge himself. Rosario credited his experience at OTA for preparing him with media exposure and high-level competition. He chose KU because of Bill Self’s winning history and he was told he could help the team win.
Rosario made the point he feels his leadership, effort, shooting, and rebounding are some of the things he can bring to the team. He called teammate Darryn Peterson one of the best he has played with and said the team’s overall athleticism stands out. Rosario also said working with Jacque Vaughn and his passion will help the right away.
