The 2025 season has reached the home stretch, and the playoff picture is now clear for both the NJCAA programs and 3C2A programs.  The NJCAA is expected to announce its final four on Monday while the 3C2A is on to the regional semifinals this weekend.

No. 1 Hutchinson completed a perfect regular season with a 27-14 win against Garden City to wrap up yet another Jayhawk Conference title.  The Blue Dragons are expected to be the top seed for the NJCAA playoffs, which start on December 5.  Hutchinson is rumored to host No. 7 Northwest Mississippi, who won the Mississippi title for a second straight season.

No. 3 Iowa Western has appeared in every final four the NJCAA has had for the past five seasons and is likely to host No. 5 Tyler in the other semifinal.  The Reivers finished 10-1 during the regular season after blasting Highland 64-13 this past Saturday.  Tyler is 11-0 after cruising past No. 30 NEO in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference title game, 33-14.

The California playoffs are going to be a bloodbath until the end.  Golden West is the lone undefeated team out west from the National Division (upper-tier) ranks and ranked No. 2 in the JCGridiron.com Dirty 30 Rankings.  The Rustlers will host No. 11 Ventura College this weekend in the Southern California semifinals after the Pirates edged No. 16 Cerritos in the opening round, 41-37.  No. 6 Saddleback will host No. 9 Mt. San Antonio after the Mounties hung on for a 42-40 win in four overtimes against No. 19 El Camino.

The Northern California playoffs have reached the semifinals and No. 8 San Mateo will host No. 21 Fresno City after the Rams upset No. 23 City College of San Francisco in the opening round, 48-45.  The other semifinal will have No. 4 Diablo Valley traveling to No. 14 Modesto after the DVC dismantled No. 27 Butte, 30-7.

The rest of the bowl games out west were completed this past week.  Congratulations to No. 29 Feather River College on winning the Northern California American Championship with a 42-21 win over previously undefeated No. 34 De Anza.  Congratulations to No. 44 Victor Valley on a win in the Southern California American Championship over Santa Monica, 38-23, last Sunday.

The other NJCAA bowl games are expected to be announced on Monday.

Here is the rest of the JCGridiron Dirty 30 Rankings.  Just a reminder, the Dirty 30 Rankings do not count games against unaffiliated programs or club programs in the rankings.
