At 6-foot-10 and 195 pounds, Costello possesses great length and an ability to hurt teams from beyond the arc. The newest Wolverine visited Ann Arbor over the weekend, and it didn’t take long for him to make his pledge to May and Michigan.
According to Rivals, Costello is the 28th-ranked player in the 2026 class, and he’s the fifth-rated power forward. He is the top-ranked player in the state of Massachusetts.
The Rivals Industry Ranking, a rating that includes the opinions of 247Sports and ESPN, has Costello listed as the 44th-rated player in the nation and the eighth-best power forward.
Costello ultimately chose Michigan over Purdue, Michigan State and Minnesota.
