Brock Heilig
Brock has been covering U-M athletics for Maize & Blue Review since 2022. The first college football game he covered came in late November 2022, when Donovan Edwards ran through the heart of Columbus. Since then, Brock has missed just one football game (TCU, thankfully). Brock graduated from Oakland University in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism. While at OU, Brock was the sports editor of the school newspaper, The Oakland Post. He led The Post’s coverage of the Golden Grizzlies’ historic upset over Kentucky in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
