Iowa vs. Northwestern at Wrigley Field start time set.

The Big Ten conference announced on Monday afternoon that Michigan’s Nov. 15 game against Northwestern will kick off at noon ET and will air live on FOX. U-M will face the Wildcats at Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, as was announced last year.

A noon ET kick in Chicago, a city located in the central time zone, will mean it’ll be an 11 a.m. local time kickoff between the Wolverines and Wildcats.

In 71 all-time meetings between Michigan and Northwestern, the Wolverines hold a 56-13-2 advantage. The Maize and Blue have not lost to the Wildcats since 2008, and 2000 was the last time they dropped a road game in the series.

This year’s game will mark just the second time in the series’ history in which the two teams will meet in a city other than either Ann Arbor, Michigan, or Evanston, Illinois. In 1925 — fittingly, exactly 100 years ago — the Wolverines and Wildcats met at Soldier Field in Chicago.

Northwestern won that matchup, 3-2, in a horrific rain storm in Chicago. The rainy day muddied up the Soldier Field playing surface, which neutralized Michigan’s transcendent passing game, featuring Benny Friedman and Bennie Oosterbaan. Despite the loss, Michigan went on to win the Big Ten conference with a 5-1 record.

This year, Michigan will be in search of its eighth win of the season. Northwestern is currently 5-3 on the season and will face USC on Friday night in Los Angeles.
