Southern Cal is currently unranked in the AP Poll. The Trojans were a perfect 4-0 before dropping a heartbreaker to Illinois in Champaign on Saturday.
Michigan, meanwhile, is 3-1 and will look to improve to 4-1 this Saturday against a handicapped Wisconsin team at the Big House.
All-time, Michigan is 5-6 against USC, with the Wolverines winning the most recent matchup, 27-24, at the Big House last season. The two Blue Bloods have faced off in the Rose Bowl eight times, with the Trojans having won six of those matchups.
This year’s trip to Los Angeles will be just the second time Michigan has made the trek out west. The only other trip to L.A. came in 1957, when the Wolverines and Trojans met in the first half of a home-and-home series. Michigan won the meeting, 16-6.
